Wynwood Art District

I first visited the Wynwood section of Miami in 2014 and was struck by the mixture of seedy low rent housing and small businesses that had lapsed into decay juxtaposed against the art revolution that was transforming this area into an art center with trendy restaurants, bars and nightspots. Wynwood was quickly becoming a destination for tourists and local residents of South Florida. The street art that permeates the area is of incredibly high quality and reflects the diversity of the artists imaginations. The pictures below are all from the sides of buildings, smoke stacks, towers and the like. The area attracts model & fashion shoots, music video productions and tourists from all over the world. So, if you get to Miami and haven’t been to Wynwood, GO!
